[Her lips tighten, but the warm smile still remains somehow as she nods. Though the thought brings a sense of relief, the feeling is often overridden by guilt. Sometimes she tells herself she feels better knowing they are safe somewhere that she can see with her own eyes, but given the plethora of inconsistencies that occur living in a place like this, she knows if they weren't in Inugami, or Haven before she was kidnapped and brought here, their chances of survival would be much higher.]

Fortunately or unfortunately, many of my friends were here when I arrived. The same was true in Haven; although, I was kidnapped before they were.

[She pauses, her expression hardening, and the young girl of sixteen disappearing from her gaze. She's not only seen tragedy, endured suffering, she's seen the carnage that is war. There was once a time when the thought of taking a life wouldn't have crossed her mind. But that's in the past, and the future is the resolution that burns brightly in her eyes.

And so... with or without weapons... I will continue to fight and protect them with my life.
